It has been just over two weeks since the destructive wind and rain of Hurricane Dorian impacted the Northern Bahamas. We are grateful to confirm that despite the storm's destructive wind and rain, our resort sustained minimal damage, with all team members and guests reported safe. Our hearts are with our neighboring islands who were devastated by the storm, many still without food and shelter. We have made a $50,000 donation to World Central Kitchen to aid in the support of emergency food relief to thousands of people impacted in Abaco, Grand Bahama and more.

We will reopen following a planned, seasonal closure, accepting reservations for October 2019. During this closure, we are boxing up supplies and dry goods to help the families and communities in need. Follow us on Instagram @thecove_eleuthera to uncover what we are doing to support hurricane relief efforts in the Bahamian community.

Should you feel led to give time or resources to aid post-hurrican recovery in the Bahamas, we ask you to consider one of two organizations who are leading real change in our communities.

An organization founded and fueled by volunteers. HeadKnowles is dedicated to supporting Bahamian hurricane relief. To best support their mission to restore the affected communities, please consider donating to their GoFundMe.

Should you be local to our island of Eleuthera and interested in contributing, One Eleuthera Foundation is collecting dry goods, water, clothing and more at two different drop-off locations. These donations will be transported by helicopter directly to those in need.
