Hurricane Dorian Relief

We are grateful to confirm that despite Hurricane Dorian’s destructive wind and rain, our resort sustained minimal damage, with all team members and guests reported safe. Our hearts are with our neighboring islands who were devastated by the storm, many still without food and shelter.

During our seasonal closure, we boxed up supplies and dry goods to help the families and communities in need. Additionally, we have made a $50,000 donation to World Central Kitchen to aid in the support of emergency food relief to thousands of people impacted in Abaco, Grand Bahama and more. Follow us on Instagram @thecove_eleuthera to uncover what we are doing to support hurricane relief efforts in the Bahamian community.

Champions for Change

Should you feel led to give time or resources to aid post-hurricane recovery in the Bahamas, we ask you to consider one of three organizations who are leading real change in our communities.

How you can help

World Central Kitchen

With the help of supporters from around the globe, World Central Kitchen has shown there is no place too far or disaster too great for their chef relief team. Founded by celebrated Chef José Andrés and his wife Patricia more than ten years ago, the non-profit is on a mission to supply food when and where it’s needed most.
